OLIVER MILLER HOMESTEAD TOUR – MAY 8, 2024
OLIVER MILLER HOMESTEAD TOUR
In 1772, Oliver Miller built a home on this site for his wife and nine children. Their house was also a makeshift church for the area before there was a church building. Sons of the family served in the Revolutionary War and were later involved in the Whiskey Rebellion. There are six rooms usually open to the public, often with demonstrations of spinning and weaving, and cooking on special days. The docent will take the group to several other buildings on the property
