Reporting the Death of a Retiree or Spouse

Notify the Retirement Board to report the death as soon as possible. When a death certificate is available,  send a copy of the death certificate to:

The Retirement Board will reconcile the final benefit and, if applicable, start the survivor benefit and initiate the life insurance claim on behalf of the beneficiary.
