Our Mission

ACRA is a non-profit organization established exclusively for the purpose of advancing the common good and general welfare of employees, past and present, of Allegheny County.

We schedule regular meetings to promote the fellowship of our membership,

We inform our members of organized efforts which threaten to compromise the integrity of the retirees’ pension and health care choices.

We advocate for continued improvements in pension benefits for retirees.

ACRA organizes public educational efforts to encourage promulgation of statutory amendments that may ensure the continuation and improvement of the County pension benefits.
